FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What Should I bring with me to my visit?

Be sure to bring your insurance and photo ID, and a form of payment. If you have an Advance Directive or Living Will, please bring a copy with you to be placed on your chart. Leave any valuables at home such as jewelry and watches. 

What will I be expected to pay the day of my procedure?

Patients are expected to pay their copays, deductibles or coinsurance amounts prior to your surgery. You will receive a form on the day of your procedure of what the estimated balance may be

Should I bring a change of clothes?

No, you will be provided with a surgical gown and slippers. Wear loose and comfortable clothing for ease of dressing after your procedure.

Should I stop taking my medications?

Do not stop taking your medications unless instructed to do so by either your physician or nurse. Instructions will be given during your pre-operative phone call on medications to take pre-operatively.

Do I need to stop eating and drinking before the procedure?

If sedation or anesthesia is required, you will be instructed not to eat or drink after midnight. Complete instructions will be given to you during your pre-operative phone call with a nurse.

Do I need someone to drive me home?

If sedation or anesthesia is required, you will need someone to drive you home and remain with you for 24 hours post- operatively. 

When is my procedure?

Your doctor’s office will call you to schedule the date for your procedure. Arrival time will be finalized by 2:00 pm the business day prior to your procedure. Please call: (440)-882-0103 after 2:00 pm to receive your arrival time.

How do I pay my bill? 

You can pay your bill in a few ways:

  • In person: On the day of your procedure by cash, check, or credit/debit card.
  • Online: We offer a secure online portal where you can pay by credit/debit card. 
  • By check: Checks should be made out to the Pearl Road Surgery Center and to be sent to our billing office at:
         370 Mallory Station Road (Suite 504), Franklin, TN 37067
  • By phone: You can call 1-888-550-6691 ext. 7 to pay by credit card.

If you have any questions regarding your care, please contact your physician’s office. If it is an emergency, call 911 or go to your local emergency room.

How do I request my medical records?

Your medical records from the surgery center are available upon request.
